3rd Shift Training Technician

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development of the Training Program
  • Train associates
  • Complete and keep current all training and training records
  • Update training matrix weekly and post updated copy
  • Attend monthly training meetings and other training activities
  • Coordinate daily training activities with Team Leaders and update Administrator as to daily projects
  • Coordinate training project activities as directed
  • Evaluate training needs for shift and report findings to Training Administrator
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

  • Regular and prompt attendance, to include mandatory meetings and overtime as needed
  • Consistent respectful treatment of all associates

Responsibilities:

    • Meet Assoc Needs (Safety, Training, Direction, Concerns)
    • Administer RTI policy and procedures
    • Evaluate performance
    • Track Attendance
    • Communicate concerns to manager
  • Quality
    • Monitor all production processes
    • Develop & confirm production countermeasures
    • Ensure accountability is maintained for quality & delivery
    • Complete all appropriate forms
  • Production
    • Review schedule & schedule manpower efficiently
    • Meet daily requirement & monitor daily activity
    • Communicate support needs to other shifts
    • Feedback changes to Scheduling
    • Maintain production training report
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Review & investigate rejects on daily basis
    • Support department action plan
    • Support Associate involvement programs
    • Review and maintain layout & processes
  • Equipment Maintenance & Supplies
    • Investigate maintenance problems & notify support
    • Order Supplies & Monitor inventory of supplies
    • Investigate new suppliers & vendors

EHS Administrator

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and evaluate workplace environments, equipment, and practices to ensure compliance with safety standards and government regulations
  • Ensure timely safety and environmental training education programs are conducted and documented
  • EHS reporting internally and externally with governmental agencies, parent company, and customer
  • Analyze statistical data and ensure proper countermeasure actions are taken
  • Collect samples of dust, gas, vapor, emissions, and noise for analysis and reporting
  • Maintain all Environmental and Safety Programs and documentation
  • Administer Workers Compensation plan
  • Conduct accident investigations, recommend/implement/follow-up on countermeasures
  • Conduct routine EHS audits
  • Serve as First Responder & Emergency Coordinator
  • Develop EHS action plans and budget, take actions, and monitor results
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Regular and prompt attendance
  • Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Positive associate relations skills
  • Good organizational and presentation skills
  • Time management skills
  • Self motivated and able to work with little supervision
  • Well developed communication skills
  • A minimum of 3 years prior experience in EHS for a manufacturing industry
  • Experience in OHSAS 18001 development & implementation
  • Prefer Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
  • Must be willing and able to support all shifts and travel as needed
